This lamp mounting accessory was made for the Lathe Track Rack System and is used to mount five of the lamps we carry: the Quasar, the Super Nova, the Beacon, the Aurora, and the Nebula. It's tapped with an M8 x 1 thread so the lamps will screw right in. If you own one of these magnetic lamps now—you would simply need to unscrew the lamp from the magnet and put the bracket on it. Be careful not to pinch or cut the electric cord coming out of the base when tightening or loosening the mount. The Lamp Bracket comes with bolts and two handless for sliding onto the Track Rack and is about 6" long. You can also drill and tap, or simply drill other holes as needed for other special applications you may have.
